And patches of gray sky
A prison for the bird with the broken wing

Acquainted With The Night by Robert Frost

I have been one acquainted with the night.
I have walked out in rain - and back in rain.
I have outwalked the furthest city light.
I have looked down the saddest city lane.
I have passed by the watchman on his beat
And dropped my eyes, unwilling to explain.

I have stood still and stopped the sound of feet
When far away an interrupted cry
Came over houses from another street,

But not to call me back or say good-bye;
And further still at an unearthly height,
O luminary clock against the sky

Proclaimed the time was neither wrong nor right.

what happens,
if you never wake up,
the day now your last,
you live for tommarow,
but die today,
forget about tommarow,
live for the now,
look at your love,
standing in front of you,
never give in,
fight to the last breath,
not for you,
not for me,
but only for your love

These Cursed Eyes

We all go through life looking at others shells,
we fall into a false belief that we can see who they really are,
while some of us can,
a few have the eyes that can't be fooled,
these eyes show me your true colors,
but they are but two things,
they are a gift and yet a curse,
nothing is hidden from them,
to be distened from all,
my eyes kill me,
yet save me,

fight a war inside themselves
wondering who they are
Why they are
What their purpose is
Letting their hearts be consumed
As if fate is telling them
They are forever destined to be alone

Illusion

I am but one human,
standing here, but for you to see,
there is simply thousands of me,
my mind ever shifts, so many sides to see,
but two stand out from the rest,
you see the Angel, shinning so bright, as the day,
along side the Demon, tanted, black as the night,
these two conflict in a battle,
for all of eternity,
but they are just two sides, of my whole,
for Im the one, you see in the shadows,
the one so silen,

so sad
